fusk
Should say, how to change, but you know, fast fingers and all. Anyway. Installed test2, but i've also tried with test1, and can't seem to make it work. I have tried searching high and low, but there don't seem to be an explanation anywhere. So maybe one of you can help me. Edited September 15, 2013 by fusk @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
fusk
It seems like this is not even known on the xvm forums. I think i'll try on the wot forums, maybe some of the users have figured this out. @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
13
chance Did you mean "change"? Open your config file and change all these macro: {{c:xwn}} to {{c:wn}} and {{xwn}} to {{wn}} If you using multifile config you can find these macro in playersPanel.xc (Players Panel), battleLoading.xc (Battle Loading Screen), statisticForm.xc (TAB), markersAliveNormal.xc (Markers without ALT), markersAliveExtended.xc (Markers with ALT). If you have any further questions please feel free to ask here. 1 @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
thazideek
If you need to make a change throughtout the mod you should open these files of your config playersPanel.xc battleLoading.xc statisticForm.xc and replace {{xwn}} with {{wn}} For more information about macros see res_mods\xvm\doc\readme-en.txt P.S. Pay attention to open these files with a text editor like Notepad or Notepad++, but not with MS Word or Wordpad. 1 @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites

"Should say, how to change" So i guess that's a yes, i meant change. Which config ? I don't know what multifile config is, i just installed xvm drag & drop style. I got the xwn and wn part from the readme, but it doesn't say anymore, it just explains what they mean, i searched most documents to find xwn. If i go into playersPanel.xc battleLoading.xc statisticForm.xc And change all xwn for wn, nothing changes. I start the game and there a no changes, it looks the same as default. 13
@fusk, ok, let's try another way. 1. Download this file: xvm.xc 2. Put it into res_mods/xvm/ "Should say, how to change" So i guess that's a yes, i meant change. Sorry, i don't know why i did not see this right away :) @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
sech_92
@fusk, firstly, You had to rename res_mods\xvm\xvm.xc.sample to xvm.xc It would make the config in @Default folder work. Still, you may use the config, that Mr 13 compiled for you @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
fusk
@fusk, ok, let's try another way. 1. Download this file: xvm.xc 2. Put it into res_mods/xvm/ Sorry, i don't know why i did not see this right away :) :P Oh, so you have to rename that file. I noticed in the readme, it says "If you want special settings, you need to rename boot config file:" But i remember earlyer versions where this was enabled by default, right? so i didn't think playerstats was considdered "special" however that might have been because of the xvmstat.exe which isn't needed anymore. And i didn't want to get into all the "special" stuff, i know people go crazy in configs, but i try to keep it simple. So in short, playerstats is not enabled by default, and you need to rename xvm.xc.sample to xvm.xc to get it to work. @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
Yupi
@fusk, so, now works? @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
fusk
@fusk, so, now works? Yes, now it works. But i also found out that you have to edit ration.xc and change "showplayerstatistic" from false to true. So in short recap. To enable default player ratings you need to do this for it to work. 1. Rename res_mods/xvm/xvm.xc.sample to xvm.xc 2. Change showPlayersStatistics value in res_mods/xvm/configs/@Default/rating.xc to true And then if you want 4 digit WN6 instead of 2 digit WN6 you need to replace all xwn with wn in these files. playersPanel.xc battleLoading.xc statisticForm.xc Then you're good to go. Mikk36
I would rather suggest to copy the settings from the xvm\configs\@Default to xvm folder and rename the @xvm.xc file to xvm.xc and then edit the necessary files. This way you don't overwrite the modified "default" config every time you update. @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
