Config value substitution using the macro {{.}} doesn't seem to work everywhere

So, to make it short, I have this

"mirroredVehicleIcons": "{{.battle.showPostmortemTips}}",
"showPostmortemTips": false,

but vehicle icons are still being displayed as if the value of mirroredVehicleIcons was set to true. Why doesn't it work?

Of course I have no intention of making mirroring icons conditional on showing post-mortem tips ;) It's just an example, but I'd like to know why it doesn't work, though it seems, for me at least, it should.

i told only about options in batle.xc: use of macros not give any result... try to use macro in other places, maybe this will work :))

I did, hence the topic name "...doesn't seem to work everywhere" :) I'd like to know what it depends on.
