Stumpy 0 Posted July 7, 2014 I recently changed some settings in my firewall (ssl filtering) and now my xmv doesn't work. It appears that the ssl certificates (or whatever) aren't updated since my firewall is blocking access to server. Is there a workaround or do I have to wait till you update certificates (or whatever). And I know 100% sure its because of the ssl filtering since I deactivated it several times and xvm worked and after I turned it back on it stopped. Many thanks in advance Share this post Link to post Short link Share on other sites

Stumpy 0 #198338 Posted July 8, 2014 (edited) Our certificate is valid. Check your firewall settings. That might be, but there is something wrong since its being blocked. Can you explain why I should lower my security, cuz 'your' mod doesn't function with ssl filtering. disable SSL filtering for https://stat.modxvm.com* Tried it doesn't work I don't get it I might aswell stop using it. It only brings my frustration anyway (winratio (too high is hardly ever right (is way too high eventhough its below 40% or way too low eventhough its 65+%), you can see from the start when you gonna loose (too many tomato's, etc.). sirmax 5,499 #198339 Posted July 8, 2014 Bacause your SSL filtering software is replacing our certificate with another, and we don't accept it. Ask your software vendor for explanation. Share this post Link to post Short link Share on other sites
Stumpy 0 #198344 Posted July 8, 2014 (edited) Bacause your SSL filtering software is replacing our certificate with another, and we don't accept it. Ask your software vendor for explanation. What do you mean. My firewall scans certificates and checks if its not older than v2 (even with this option off it doesn't work) and, to my knowledge, nothing else it doesn't replace certificates it just blocks. Maybe it helps if you know what security software I use, ESET smart security 7. Edit: contacted ESET and waiting for reply Edited July 8, 2014 by Stumpy Share this post Link to post Short link Share on other sites
Stumpy 0 #199132 Posted July 12, 2014 Problem solved with help of ESET, I had to exclude the game and the mod from real-time monotoring. Share this post Link to post Short link Share on other sites
