Interesting project!
The client 0.6.2 maybe run with the BigWorld indie server 2.1, because it have a strong similarity to the delivered fantasydemo. Ressources not packed and so on...
But there are many scripts missing to start it successfully. Maybe someone can program it out of reverse engineer progress. Or Dragonarmor have try to program a kind of server emulator, without using official server software. But a ready to use solution is not available, yet.

Creating needed Accounts from the tutorial in the server Installation guide does not work for me?

Bind the DXSDK in the linker options of the bwclient project, i think that's it. Now you may compile it.
