DDemon
Greetings great builders of XVM! This is my first post on this forum, thank you guys for making this great mod. I have a little problem with my XVM, the tank icons above allied and enemy tanks no longer scale down the farther away they are. This only appears to be happening on the new map WG has added, it scales just fine on other maps. Using 3039 nightly build. I will attach a screenshot and my XVM config, if anyone could help me with this problem, that would be greatly appreciated. xvm.xc @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
TornadoCat
Hmm .. it's not even XVM minimap ... @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
DDemon
Hmm .. it's not even XVM minimap ... Not talking about the minimap though, talking about the markets above the tanks, look at the enemy tanks spotted right infront of me, no matter what range, they will remain the same size. When I have a tank in draw distance on the other side of the map, it will be as it the tank is right next to me. If you look closely, you can see the heavy tank icon overlaps the actual tank. TornadoCat
@DDemon, sorry, my mistake ._.I see it, I just can say that I have not noticed it yet ... Maybe it'll be fixed in next night builds or xvm test2 @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
DDemon
Alright, thanks for the replies. I was hoping it was some sort of configuration error on my part, that it could be fixed by a small edit. Guess I will just have to wait for a fix then. :) @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
TornadoCat
@DDemon, if the others maps works right - it's not config wrap @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites

DDemon
Is it reproducible in the replay? Yes it is, it's reproducible in a training room as well. Here is one of my replays in case you need one. 20131225_2229_china-Ch01_Type59_53_japan.wotreplay @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
sirmax
Anybody can confirm this issue? Did you check with clean client? I checked your replay and can't confirm. Try to find a problem in another mods. @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites

I checked your replay and can't confirm. shot_003.jpg Try to find a problem in another mods. I have made a clean install and the problem persisted, however, I disabled locastans minimap mod and the issue was fixed. It seems it has some sort of weird effect on the icons on just that single map, which is quite odd. So the problem lies not with XVM, but locastan that interferes with the XVM over target markers. I apologize for wasting your time. Edited December 28, 2013 by DDemon @ Quote Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
