i gain like 5 wn8 daily normally, if i will keep playing but on hidden nick will it still updating or stop working till i unhide?

If I turned on nickname anonymizer, will my stats keep update when i play or stop updating, like if i have good battles will my wn8 increase like normally or will stop everything like i dont play? Thanks for answers.
