  1. Hi, I am looking for the option to hide the little window in the hanger that shows overall win rate, looked through the configs but not sure which one it is, can anyone point me in the right direction please. EDIT: someone ingame helped, it's in widgets it seems!
  2. Hello and thanks for the reply, it seems that even though it was stated it was updated, it was not. I am guessing WG changed something and the modder didnt know :0/ Urgh found an updated version of the countours but now they are green for allies and res for enemies, like some sort of overlay.. you can see the icon underneath but they are washed out in green and red, any ideas? EDIT: Fixed, found an old post that says change "amount" in the config to 1 :0)
  3. Hi all, having a little trouble with a contour icon mod. XVM is all working fine, but when i add a countour pack into 'world of tanks/res_mods/0.9.19.0/gui/maps/icons/vehicle/contour' it completely disables the damage panel. Is there a better location to put contour icons so that xvm finds them easier/better? Thanks, Richie.
  4. Urgh your absolutely right! I copied over my config and totally forgot about it lol!! All sorted and working as intended now, just took another to see it... With regard to the minimap alt size, i notice it now says index 0..5, is 5 the absolute largest it can be? Thanks
  5. Hi all, using the latest build of XVM and having a couple of issues with the minimap. first off the last known position is off a bit... (EDIT: tried to include two screenshots, but the forum said "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." So i have included a zip file with two screenshots of the issue.) As you can see the name of the tank is separated from the tank icon. This happened in both the last and current builds for me. And second.. I have the minimap set to the center of the screen when i press alt, but how to make it a bit bigger? I tried changing ""pixelsBack": 449," to a larger number but nothing changed.   7. Hi, I tried the nightly build but no luck sadly. I did however find what seems to be a fix, the problem seemed to occur during the transition from the game launching in a window, then transitioning to full screen. Had a look around the 'C' drive and found inside "C/users/<name>/Appdata/roaming/Wargaming.net" a WoT folder with config files in it, I deleted the whole World of Tanks folder. When i launched the game it behaved as though freshly installed but no longer have the issue, maybe i could have just deleted the XVM file in there but either way it has solved the issue. On a separate note however, only a small thing, I usually make the Tank icons smaller, but that does not seem to be working in this iteration of xvm. "offsetY": 0 I usually change the maxscale (in blue above) to 60 to shrink the tank icons, but doesn't seem to have effect in game? The opacity setting does work, changed from 100 to 50. EDIT: running nightly and deleting the WG folder didn't work, just started doing it again meh :0(
  8. Hi all, Bit of an odd one.. If i launch WoT with no mods it's all ok, but whenever I launch WoT with XVM installed, any window on my second display gets shunted to the top left of my primary display and the secondary display just has a huge white box covering about 90% of the screen. The 2nd display is to the right of primary, and the only visible portion of the 2nd display is a strip down the far right of the screen. I always have iTunes, Teamspeak and a few monitoring windows running on the 2nd display, and itunes always ends up top left of primary display. If i dont run itunes then the next window, usually TS gets shunted across to primary. I removed all the mods from the game and tested, It was ok, installed only XVM and it did it again, hope someone has an idea what this may be! When i reinstalled the only changes i made was to rename xvm.xc.sample to activate it and changed carousel to 2 rows, changed that back to just 1 in case! I couldn't really take a screenshot but took a quick on on my phone to show the huge white box i get when i launch the game. python.log xvm.log default.7z

  10. carousel was working fine earlier until.... I elited my object 704, I didn't sell it but i cannot see it in my carousel unless i load default config, ie no mods. also, my mouse will now not mouse over half the carousel, this is only since i elited the 704, the only change made is rows from 1 to 2.
  11. OK, here's the python log, that should have at least one crash in it. I will upload the xvm log when I get a crash, reinstalled it now to see what result i get, using the latest nightly build. EDIT: included the XVM log as it has just crashed, hope there's something that can be identified in there! So, i was just having a look through the python logs and saw what i have outlined in red... I use a Logitech G19 keyboard with the little LCD screen...as noted in the "before" attached jpeg. I uninstalled the Logitech software and looked again, jpeg marked as "after" Could the logitech software be the cause? python.log xvm.log
  12. Hi all, been using XVM now for many years and never had a problem. Since 9.14 i get random crashes, mostly on the battle loading screen, but sometimes in other random screens too. I have run the game with nothing else other than XVM, no configs changed at all, just as it comes downloaded. Everything works fine with no mods at all, just for some reason with XVM it crashes... Anyone have any ideas or thoughts about how to approach this and try to find out what is causing it? On windows 10 64bit by the way.

  15. Yes, i realize that now, will be saving configs from now on! Altho tbh i tend not to make too many changes from the default, just tune the target markers and change a few colours around. If adding a shadow around only my damage is hard or tricky, think i may decide to get used to playing without it!
  16. thnx for the answer, sadly i don't have the previous versions anymore, i always like to start with fresh configs and mods where i can, and when i saw that the online config was no longer used, presumed the old xvm configs would not work any more with the new versions :0/

Hi all, i have managed to change the colours i used in previous versions with regard to damage by source, so the damage I do is an obvious colour and the damage my platoon mates do is also an obvious colour, but.... In previous versions that used the online editor you could setup your floating damage text with a main colour and have a slightly different coloured shadow, for example i used a light blue with a kind of neon glow purple shadow, just for my damage done, is this achievable in the current version? Sorry, not too good at looking thru code and finding the right bits and pieces! Thnx, Richie.
  18. Hi all, i have searched about and cannot find the answer, so thought i'd ask. Basically i am using version 5.3.5 of xvm, and the draw distance box is not displayed. I have looked through the config using note++ and xcpad, but can't find the files to see if it's enabled or not. Any help locating the correct files would be greatly appreciated, or even better making it a 500m circle.
