Hello dear community,

 

i think it's time to start this thread, and i hope it grows a new discussion about this engine in this forum. 

 

 

please share your experiences with the bigworld engine here.

No success at running it with world of tanks client, yet. But with indie edition 2.1 i can run the server successful with delivered fantasydemo with mysql support. The indie version only run on centos 5.11 !!!

This is a simple test with the bwmachine daemon 14.4.1. It´s only running on CentOS 7!

 

NOTE: Using CentOS 7 1905.1 (CentOS 7.6) because CentOS 7.7 backported a
            security fix in systemd that conflicts with the BWT daemon startup.

This is the main goal at first. Enter the hangar and able to open Team Training screen. This screenshot come from a experiment with the offhangar mod from izeberg.

What do you mean? They bought it and are developing it closed only for their projects, as far as I know.

As far as I know, they sold Riot all the trash that they don't need, and kept the engine for themselves.

I have problems with the Administration.

Creating needed Accounts from the tutorial in the server Installation guide does not work for me? 

The documentation is weak and confusing.

Well, the only thing I can share is the opening of the World of Tanks 0.7.0 maps on the BigWorld 2.0.1 engine.
