XVM Failing 1/2 the time in battle (on Windows 7)

I would like to share an interesting observation.

 

Up until recently the above issue continued on my PC. Then, somewhere in early December, there was a server crash (all players frozens in match, no login possible) and consequently (I guess) a server reboot. After that incident I had zero problems with XVM. All went perfectly fine! Not one match without colors. So I really assumed the issue must have been fixed somehow as I played a lot which means that it cannot be explained by a small sample.

 

Then roughly three weeks later, on 21 Dec 2023, there was a micro patch. And all the problems started again.
