I am very confused in the configuration.... the config is now separated in like 20 files, right? So I can't use the online configurator to set the visuals of my XVM correct? Or is there a way to merge my old xvm.conf with the new 5.0? The manual setting by editing each file is something very bothersome for me....

1. multiple config files: select all config files when you open file in online XVM editor

    old xvm.conf: select your old xvm.conf

2. save xvm.xc to the res_mods\xvm folder

First of all thank you for all the hard work you do to make this game more informative and enjoyable for us to play. I know it must be a thankless job but rest assured there are many of us that really appreciate what you do for us. 

 

I was comfortable with the previous version of XVM and was learning to use the XCPad to edit and test using the online editor and replays as well. With the new update things have not worked out as well as I would like. For example I downloaded the most recent version of Aslain's XVM available on the forums and cannot use the online editor anymore so I am left with only the XCPad or Notepad++. I have a version of XVM that I had fully customized to my liking but with the update it no longer works. I uninstalled WOT and did a clean install so there were no left overs of the old XVM. I did not uninstall Dokan though from the computer thinking that a clean install of WOT would do the job or must I remove that completely too? 

 

I did see mention that you can copy over your old XVM folder and its contents but it does not work at all. Also the error I get when I try the online editor or new XVM configs is below. 

 

 

Can I just install the latest XVM files and create a new version of the XVM using this editor and saving it down to the folder in res_mods/xvm?

Hi & Thanks to everyone that helps. Just wanted to throw this out here.

Uninstall Dokan Library & Delete xvm-stats.exe they are not needed anymore. Just use "Normal Game Shortcut"

Download 5.0.0-test2.zip, unzip drop the "res_mods" folder into your World of Tank Folder.

 

Go into res_mods/xvm. Rename xvm.xc.sample to xvm.xc.

At the top of this folder is a folder named configs, within that is @Default.

 

Using Notepad, this where I tweeked some of the settings such as changing rating.xc to show statistics. battleloading.xc to show "showchances",

finalStatistic.xc, playersPanel.xc, statisticForm.xc ...

 

Still learning but I got the stats to show when loading without chance to win.
Tab button works perfect with stats & chance to win.

In match I'm seeing WN6 rating insted of w/l ratio ... I hope this helps someone.

My 2 friends have problem. Their XVMs and other mods are working but without stats, I dunno why it's like that. For 20people the same folder "res_mods" is working very well, Any solutions?

Guys, is there anything changed related to 6th sense sound in test 3? after update i can't hear the sound(would be nice to change external folder, that xvm.fev and xvm.fsb uses btw. if it's possible)

What would help me now is having also path to icons for tank crew tooltips in garage, so I could solve training room icons mirroring by making separate mirrored images.
