The lowest Default Zoom can go in XVM as well as P-MOD is 0.8x...

While this is certainly better, I would like the lowest limit to be the LOWEST it can go before distortion occurs, which I believe is 0.76x or something.

 

I cannot remember the exact #, you would have to test it.  OLD Zoom Mods used to allow you to set the limit you wanted, so I could set it to the lowest it could go before image distortion occurred, which again was somewhere around 0.76x I think.  I like to have the lowest it can go as my default zoom, aka the "widest" it can be.

 

It's unfortunate Wargaming doesn't allow us to "manually edit" the new Default Zoom setting like we can the "Interface Scaling" in Preferences.xml.  I set it in Settings to 1x and then I edit Preferences.xml and set it to 1.200000.  So, I have 1.2 increase in the games scaling...  I don't have to use the Scaling Mod due to this which I used to use before I found out we could set this ourselves.

 

Anyway, please change the lowest limit in XVM's default zoom to the lowest it can go if you can.

This will not be implemented.

For the startZoom option, the closest value specified in the zooms section is selected.
