Issue with modeling the gun

Recommended Posts

So whenever I export the gun model from 3DS max into the .primitives etc, then copy the new files over into res_mods to test it in game, I load into the game and it looks like this:image.png.ed2892f1d89ed03a98bd5c236f3eac67.png

While inside of 3ds it looks and renders FINE:image.thumb.png.f2031e3f2e2fa9390f2c6a1fab72bde4.png

Also if I don't collapse the Skin to the Editable Mesh in 3ds before I export it as a visual, then the gun renders, super fucking small on the turret.

Would be great to know how to fix this!

Go to gun.visual_processed, open it with a xml editor, find section

That is only a quick fix.

Also watch your language.

Yes was able to fix this by doing that as well. Now, I have this problem :/

Most of the time it's displayed properly in the garage but then crashed me when I try to play a battle. Also, can't seem to export the gun WITH the skin on it for the bones etc. without the gun rendering extremely small in the garage and rescaling it doesn't do anything.

Apologies for language I've just spend almost 5 days on this :P

@olix_vameshu possibly it is how I'm exporting the .visual from 3ds max? tbh idk what most of the options do on the little dialogue.
