Проверка наличия прострела

Каким образом можно проверить наличие прострела по танку противника? 
В качестве примера использовал найденные куски кода из XModLib и wg_collideSegment(подсмотрено из старого аима от spoter).

# vehicle - танк противника
player = BigWorld.player()
# result всегда равен None
result = vehicle.collideSegmentExt(player.position, vehicle.position)
# Следующий код сразу приводит к вылету клиента
result2 = BigWorld.wg_collideSegment(player.spaceID, player.position, vehicle.position, collisionFlags=128, resultFilter=None)
