Statistics are not being updated - forever running

Good afternoon

I am running windows 10 pro and xvm 8.0.5 and world of tanks 1.6.0.1577 after logging into my account and activated my account. I now press Statistics update and it says Statistics are being updated.

the problem I have is it show them for ever being updated the arrows going in circles. I have stopped and tried playing the game and nothing. please advise
