XVM website, the language is not remembered, why?

There's no cookie value set and it doesn't check for it in the first place? Not sure actually as I always just go to https://modxvm.com/en and voilà. (pun intended) ;) 

I suspect that if it did "remember", it might be your browser cache over the site itself.
Of course, I could be completely wrong. I have not bothered to look at the page code.

Once you click anything on the top menu, like 'prolong', 'update statistics' or even 'login' (why can't we stay permanently logged in anyway? this is not a bank website), the language defaults back to russian, regardless of the /en/ in the url.
