I don't see a point in doing so. Just start configuring from what you have. If you don't know how to do something just ask here.

I just have asked in my above post .

well while Im waiting for an answer from a xvm developer , I used the xvm editor  http://www.modxvm.com/en/xvm-xvm-xvmconf-configuration-editor/

and found that some stuff wasnt removed and I want the original sounds of wot ect and I want other stuff gone . Thats why I asked in the above post and is that possible .  :)

And find a readme-en.txt file, that should be in mods resorses.

where I dont find one .

Forget about the online editor. It's obsolete.

And don't wait for an answer from devs. They rather won't help you in configuring XVM as they're busy enough with developing the mod.

And the readme file can be found in res_mods\mods\shared_resources\xvm\doc.

Don't use a single file config created via the editor. Use default multi file one. Create its copy, name it whatever you like, place a link to it in the xvm.xc file and then start configuring.

What file? You mean the default config? It's a folder called default. It's in the same location as the xvm.xc file.

ohh no!!!

@spaceman not to be sounding rude but your in way over your head here m8 , if you can read .xml your half way there ,i suspect you cant though.

my advice is to take an indepth look at the default config and start to doctor that to your liking , to be honest default isnt half bad now

what sounds do you want gone ? xvm doesnt do a lot of sound modding in default state.I have been writing my own configs for nearly five years and still learning about xvm and what it can do and the ways you are able to do things to achive the same results. its not just get a book and read to learn , xvm is so open that there are many ways to do the same thing ,someone may write ten lines of code to do a little routine , then see someone else has done the same only using one line of code ,its that type of thing ? so you take the better code and add it to your own config.

Ok thanks for the replies ,Where I am up to is I am going to follow the istructions in readme-en file.

Part 5. MAKING A PERSONAL CONFIGURATION.
World_of_Tanks\res_mods\mods\shared_resources\xvm\doc\readme-en file

So I will start from there .

Right with the default set up so far I am not getting smooth game play .

Every time any tank is lost the game stutters once .
