GrappoSoda 0 Posted March 26, 2017 Hi! I've added a custom "Battle interface text field" by defining it in battleLabelsTemplates.xc and then adding it to the list of "formats" in battleLabels.xc. So far so good. However, this field is drawn on top of some other elements, eg the battle countdown and capping bars. I would prefer if it was drawn on top of OTM etc, but below the counter/bar elements for better readability. How do I do this? Quote Share this post Link to post Short link Share on other sites

konrad509 445 #384527 Posted March 27, 2017 IIRC the layer parameter doesn't work in battle labels. Quote Share this post Link to post Short link Share on other sites
GrappoSoda 0 #385670 Posted April 11, 2017 (edited) IIRC the layer parameter doesn't work in battle labels. According to the docs (extra-field.txt) that is correct. It seems the battle labels are always drawn on top of the rest of the UI. You can effectively change the z-order of a battle label relative to the others though, by simply reordering the definitions in the config file.
