9.16 brought a new background effect to the carousel icons when your tank has incomplete crew -- a slightly-greyed-out effect which appears between the "flag" and "tankIcon" layers.

 

Can you please add an option to remove that?

That's because WG removed substrate from the cells. You can add cell background in the cell extra fields config with "layer": "substrate" option.

 

UPD: I read your message wrong and answered to another question. I'll see what is possible to do with this grayed background.

Thanks. Also, is it possible to remove the 2 new carousel filter icons below the Primary filter (ie Elite Vehicles and Premium Vehicles)?

 

In other words, can we have more options to this section:

Done, added option "enableLockBackground" - set to false to remove background for locked vehicles

Reviving this thread because of the platooning restrictions in 9.18.

 

Is it possible to change this feature so that you have the option to:

(i) enable LockBackground for vehicles "not suitable for platoon" (eg arty, or wrong tier), and yet

(ii) disable LockBackground for vehicles that have "crew incomplete"?

 

In other words, more options for this feature based on the reason why a tank is locked?
