I want to know what this exactly does besides the obvious. Is this useful for something?

They way I think it works is that I don't need to exit the game everytime I change something in the config.

Am I correct?

Yes. It works on replays and there are some exceptions in hangar (the part not changed)

I love this function. I often edit my config and I don't have to restart WoT for every small change. And how do I know I f*cked the config up? When I switch to hangar, my carousel becomes standard one-liner. Thus I undo the last change I made - easily in 10 seconds, no restarting needed. Awesome!

Yes, it's useful when that happens, but it has the downside that XVM will always re-read the config, even when nothing changed... So it's probably better to turn it off after you've finished tweaking the config. ;)

Not exactly. XVM reread config files status once per 5 second, but not reloading whole config. But that is true, better turn it off when not needed.

You can rewind back replay to reload config.
