MightyBalls 0 Posted May 25, 2016 Hi, For some reason my xvm.xc file is not being looked at, its simply going to the default settings which are set within the default folder. I have attached my xvm.xc file if anyone could explain why for some reason my settings are not being looked at and instead going and loading the default folder xvm settings. The file is located within the normal location which is: res_mods/configs/xvm/ Any help is most welcome :) Thanks xvm.xc Quote Share this post Link to post Short link Share on other sites

Shaedann 0 #328886 Posted May 25, 2016 (edited) I seem to have a similar problem : - I only made modifications to the OTM and Hitlog parts, and managed to carry those over patch after patch, with some tweaking, - Last time XVM considered one of my files to be broken, it would load the default instead, and warn me about the faulty line in the battle loading screen, - 9.15 hits, and XVM now only loads default without any kind of warning - If I try to force my modified files into the default folder, the game just stops running and the PC comes along... Any thoughts ? konrad509 445 #328889 Posted May 25, 2016 With these files, there doesn't seem to be any problem. Post your whole config. Quote Share this post Link to post Short link Share on other sites
Shaedann 0 #329093 Posted May 26, 2016 First of all, thanks for looking into it, much appreciated ! Attached are all the conf files I use, hope this might help narrow it down... config.zip Quote Share this post Link to post Short link Share on other sites
konrad509 445 #329103 Posted May 26, 2016 Everything works fine for me. XVM loads the config without any problems. Check the file xvm.xc. Maybe you overwrote it by a mistake with the default one. Quote Share this post Link to post Short link Share on other sites
Shaedann 0 #329128 Posted May 26, 2016 I thought I had checked it, double-checked even... turns out Notepad+ was messing with my head and xvm.xc was indeed pointing to the default config ! Anyway, thanks for your time and testings, I can now go back to the game, enjoying that HitLog right where it should be ! Quote Share this post Link to post Short link Share on other sites
