IceCorp
XVM seems to be showing old stats from a few days ago. How do I clear the XVM cache? Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
sirmax
You may need to "roll" back to an earlier Windows. Try 95 or 98se. se was really pretty stable. W7 is stable, all earlier is trash. It is not a joke. Link to comment Short link Share on other sites

Tormentis
W7 is stable, all earlier is trash. It is not a joke. Yea not planning on reinstalling any earlier version, and tbh, the CCleaner didn't make my pc much faster, it did make it have more space, obviously. But actually, I've tried xvm before the cleaning too, it still didn't work, might've done something wrong which I fixed after the cleaning tho, not sure about that. And then I have 2 questions, does the reinstall from windows take long? And do I have to remove all my programms (backup) and put them back on after the reinstallisation? sirmax
Don't reinstall it yourself if you don't sure. Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
Tormentis
Alright, but all that work for just a few stats I can see... Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
sirmax
I don't say that this will help. As I wrote before, you have some kind of conflict between Dokan or.NET 3.5 and your system configuration. The problem is very difficult to be resolved remotely, because the cause is not determined. Tormentis
Ah yes I see, hmm, what could be wrong with the .NET thing? Link to comment Short link Share on other sites

sirmax
Look, as you wrote, when you start xvm-stat with running game, your game stop responding? xvm-stat is .NET 3.5 application, and it calls only 1 function that have relation to game process: Process[] wotProcesses = Process.GetProcessesByName(WOT_PROCESS_NAME); ... wotProcess.WaitForExit(); We don't send anything to game, we just wait while it will be closed. I don't khow why you have this behavior. Edited October 23, 2012 by sirmax Link to comment Short link Share on other sites

Shlay
Hi, I just wanna ask will u use new efficiency formula for XVM? If yes, when? Or maby is there way to change it by myself, dunno from where XVM is getting info about eff, directly from wot-news or internala server database. This is new, anticapwhores formula -> http://wot-news.com/index.php/stat/calc_new/en/ Link to comment Short link Share on other sites
