exhuma 0 Posted February 28, 2014 I am desperate... I have been looking around how it's done, but can't seem to find any information on how to write mods. I have seen shockwave, actionscript and python files lying around in the mod folders. But no details on how to create my own. Does anyone here know more about this topic? What software do I need to do compile/test runs? I am an experienced software developer with around 15 years of experience on my shoulders :) So I know what kind of task awaits me... But without a development environment to work on I am a bit lost :( Also, what mods would you suggest to look into as examples? I am - for now - looking for something to add information on the mini-map. I assume locastan's HD maps would be a good starting point? I assume I need Flash for the shockwave/AS files?! Or can I just write them in good-old vim and compile them using the CLI?... which would be awesome! Quote Share this post Link to post Short link Share on other sites
