  1. So, you are saying that even after servers came back up - and my xvm started working again - suddenly it stops working and its because I am running an old version of xvm? I was running version 8.8.3.49 and it worked up until a couple of hours ago - it seems weird to include SSL certificates inside an application. And even more to actually use SSL for something as irelevant as player stats. But I updated to .51 and now it seems to be working again. So thanks for telling me.
  2. [Errno 1] _ssl.c:510: error:14077410:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3 alert handshake failure So you are ally on a roll here.
  3. Anything the community can do to help? I.e. provide hosting etc? Is the source code available for the network services? So its possible to host on own servers?
  4. I get that XVM is a hobby project - and "real" life can dictate when stuff gets fixed, people who likes to do well uses this mod and really like it. So when we get no updates as to when they expect the network services to be up again - or at least what is wrong, then I think its just one of the final nails in the coffin. Not many people in a game uses xvm anymore - so I guess its dead and its time to move on. It is really sad when the authors cannot even tell us what is wrong and when they think it will be fixed.
  5. So now network services has been down for 24 hours or so - when can we expect them to be back up? Some news would be awesome - instead of the standard "Some services may be temporarily unavailable. We'll fix it as soon as possible. It could take some time." I guess XVM is dead, or they don't care much.
