  1. **Issue is corrected, thanks** Hey XVM guys, I've been having issues trying to get my old code to work on the new XVM. Back when they changed the Players Panel format, it made it difficult for me to keep the code I like and update to the new XVM. So please look at my setup and advise me on how I can keep the values I like, and xfer the code to the new players panel format. Old code: "medium": { // false - disable (?????????) "enabled": true, // Minimum width of the player's name column, 0-250. Default is 46. // ??????????? ?????? ???? ????? ??????, 0-250. ?? ?????????: 46. "width": 46, // Display format for the left panel (macros allowed, see readme-en.txt). // ?????? ??????????? ??? ????? ?????? (??????????? ????????????????, ??. readme-ru.txt). "formatLeft": "<textformat tabstops='[70,135]'><font alpha='{{alive?#FF|#80}}'color='{{c:xte}}'>{{vehicle%-11.11s}}</font><tab><font alpha='{{alive?#FF|#80}}' color='{{c:wn8}}'>{{name%-9.9s}}</font><tab><i>AvgDmg: </i><font alpha='{{alive?#FF|#80}}' color='{{c:xtdb}}'>{{tdb%-4.3i}}</font></textformat> ", // Display format for the right panel (macros allowed, see readme-en.txt). // ?????? ??????????? ??? ?????? ?????? (??????????? ????????????????, ??. readme-ru.txt). "formatRight": "<textformat tabstops='[100,165]'><font alpha='{{alive?#FF|#80}}' color='{{c:xtdb}}'>{{tdb%4.3i|---}}</font><i> :AvgDmg</i><tab><font alpha='{{alive?#FF|#80}}' color='{{c:wn8}}'>{{name%9.9s}}</font><tab><font alpha='{{alive?#FF|#80}}' color='{{c:xte}}'>{{vehicle%11.11s}}</font></textformat>", // Display format for frags (macros allowed, see readme-en.txt). // ?????? ??????????? ?????? (??????????? ????????????????, ??. readme-ru.txt). "fragsFormatLeft": "{{frags}}", "fragsFormatRight": "{{frags}}", // Extra fields. Each field have size 350x25. Fields are placed one above the other. // ?????????????? ????. ?????? ???? ????? ?????? 350x25. ???? ????????????? ???? ??? ??????. // Set of formats for left panel (extended format supported, see above) // ????? ???????? ??? ????? ?????? (?????????????? ??????????? ??????, ??. ????) "extraFieldsLeft": [ ], "extraFieldsRight": [ {"x": -50, "y": 8, "bindToIcon": true, "format": "{{spotted}}"}] }, // Options for the "medium2" panels - the second of the medium panels. // ????? ???? "medium2" - ?????? ??????? ??? ? ????. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I tried to copy and paste my code: <textformat tabstops='[100,165]'><font alpha='{{alive?#FF|#80}}' color='{{c:xtdb}}'>{{tdb%4.3i|---}}</font><i> :AvgDmg</i><tab><font alpha='{{alive?#FF|#80}}' color='{{c:wn8}}'>{{name%9.9s}}</font><tab><font alpha='{{alive?#FF|#80}}' color='{{c:xte}}'>{{vehicle%11.11s}}</font></textformat> into the new XVM "nickFormatLeft": "<textformat tabstops='[100,165]'><font alpha='{{alive?#FF|#80}}' color='{{c:xtdb}}'>{{tdb%4.3i|---}}</font><i> :AvgDmg</i><tab><font alpha='{{alive?#FF|#80}}' color='{{c:wn8}}'>{{name%9.9s}}</font><tab><font alpha='{{alive?#FF|#80}}' color='{{c:xte}}'>{{vehicle%11.11s}}</font></textformat>" But when I go to load my WoT, the game freezes on the loading screen "Loading... Please wait..." I've even waited for 15 minutes. I always have to CTRL + ALT + DEL out of the game and end task. No other mods are installed, and when I run XVM without any code changes (default) the game loads quickly and everything runs great. All the default codes for XVM work great. I just want to implement my old code into the new XVM. Please help! Thank you for your time! -Seth
  2. I'm a common user... Yet, I know how to find the XVM Forums in English... I know how to make my own XVM... Come out with the truth, you're under fire in your forums because 'Stupid Tankers' think this is all about you! I have a few in my clan, yet, I am a the commander and have to make corrections. You're awesome as Aslain, your name is known and you have a great package! Please just inform that work is being done. You're not pointing out anything that hasn't already been pointed out... Instead of informing the DEVS, maybe inform your users~! Exactly! The very thing I absolutely hate! Popularity from others work! In College it is called plagiarism and you get kicked out of the class, if not kicked out of a top school! Aslain needs to cite his work where the work is being done so that all users can have respect. Respect to XVM DEVS for hard work, and respect to Aslain for putting together XVM with awesome mods/package. CITE your work! That is key!
  3. Sorry Aslain... but that is just a failed attempt to push yourself. You should go on your website and inform all the users of your package that the XVM devs are working very hard. Also learn how to spell please. I'm a very noobish programmer, yet, even I can find a way to program my own XVM. You're popular because of all these individuals hard work. I suggest you pay them respect as they have stated they have been working hard! I might be taking your message the wrong way, and apologize if I do. However, it's important that even WG announced in update that mods like XVM would be impacted by the new AS3 and to please be patient. Please stop trying to pressure the XVM Devs, when they are already working to the max. ;)
  4. Sirmax, Cheers for hard work! I will look into my coding, I think I just need to bring up my code lines to the new XVM files? Basically create a new @Seth (all XVM files) instead of using the old one I have. My Macro for Average damage is not working... Again, I'll look into it and figure it out. Not sure about he hit log, it's completely new style, my old hitlog only did the sum of damage I did and when I hit "alt" it showed the tanks I did damage too. I programmed it that way. Again, thanks for the response and hard work. :) I don't know if these guys ever meet in real life for a beer, but they sure deserve a beer on us. Do you try to write you're own programming as well or? Does anyone have an example code of how to "Divide "strength" values for shadows by 100."? I've programmed many things on my own, but always at the aid of you guys to help me out. Programming things is pretty tough! I love it though! It's fun to have my own final product.
  5. First off, A special thanks and shout out to the entire XVM team! They have been working very hard over years time and I want to make sure they know their hard work is appreciated! Secondly, they do a great job at responding to folks in need, let's be patient and maybe try to help them out if we can. Thirdly, I did download the nightbuild, and my XVM actually works really well. I have coded/programmed (beginner stuff) to the best of my ability and most things work well. I just want to ask and share notes: Did the macro for average damage, for that player, in that specific tank macro change? {{tdb%-4.3i}} AKA {{tdb}} The fonts above the tanks has changed as well, the data is correct, the colors also reflect correctly, but the font is in a bright bold... Should I await for the new XVM to change it back to what it used to look like? Hitlog works, but it doesn't show the total sum of damage, meaning it shows who I shot and the damage I did, but not the total that it used too. Is this something I need to change on my end or await the new XVM? I'm assuming that we're all awaiting for the new XVM in regards to the minimap? Thanks everyone, -Seth
  6. Guys, Pay attention please, this is a good fix for now. It worked for me as well.
  7. Seriych, I see, I removed "xte" [ ] from my colors.xc and my coding started to work correctly. I may have placed it their manually a long time ago trying to manage colors or something. It would be cool to see a feature where on the hitlog, the sum of your damage (Total Damage) changed colors throughout the battle, depending on how much damage you do through the battle. So for example, if you are playing a Maus, and you only score 350 damage, on the hitlog, it would be red. However, as the battle progresses and you are able to build up to 5,000 damage, it changes to purple. So as the damage progresses, it goes through the different colors based on specific damage requirements for that specific tank. Thanks for your replies! Cheers, -Seth
  8. I agree, that would be pretty cool to see exactly what % you are better than other players.
  9. Hello XVM, So I was modifying colors for the new macro {{c:xtbd}} and you do that by modifying "x"[ ] in the colors.xc I'm sad to see that "xte" [ ] was removed in the new version of XVM and that both the macro {{c:xte}} and {{c:tbd}} utilize the same colors! I hate that cause they mean different things. Is there a way to make xte and xtbd colors separate from each other based on separate values? Please help. Also, one extra question, is it possible to utilize {{c:xtbd}} in the hitlog? That way I can see when I've done enough damage that battle to be elite lol. Thank you for your time and understanding! Cheers, -Seth
  10. Seriych, Thank you for answering my questions! It all makes sense now! It's a really cool macro! Thanks for your hard work! Respectfully, -Seth
  11. Hmm... I'm still confused. I think I'm getting it though, {{xtbd}} @ 55 = 92% better than other players (regarding the specific tank, and average damage) So that means that {{xtdb}} @ 30 = 52% better? What do you mean, "you can see it in a hanger"? Cheers! -Seth Hello XVM, Also, been doing some research. I can't seem to find the location of colors for {{c:xtbd}}. Can I just make a custom section for it like I did with the similar macro in the colors.xc section? // Dynamic color by average damage on current tank // ???????????? ???? ?? ???????? ????? ?? ??? ?? ??????? ????? "tdb": [ { "value": 500, "color": ${"def.colorRating.very_bad" } }, { "value": 750, "color": ${"def.colorRating.bad" } }, { "value": 1000, "color": ${"def.colorRating.normal" } }, { "value": 1800, "color": ${"def.colorRating.good" } }, { "value": 2500, "color": ${"def.colorRating.very_good"} }, { "value": 9999, "color": ${"def.colorRating.unique" } } ], So I want to do a copy and paste and change it to "xtdb" and change the values, would that work? Or is there a place already setup that I can just go modify? What color reference does c:xtdb use?
  12. Are you getting Stats? You went to the XVM website and "Update statistics"?
  13. seriych, Thanks for clarifying into this. I think I understand, but I want to provide some feedback to see if I understand correctly. I want to utilize my Japanese Tier VI Heavy Tank, the O-I as my example. Stats for O-I Average Damage: 1,095 {{tbd}} Average Damage: 55 {{xtbd}} So this means that @ 1,095 Average Damage, I'm 55% better than other players (their average damage) specific to the O-I? Thank you for your time! -Seth
  14. Hello everyone! Playing around with XVM again and I found a recently added macro that does average damage based on XVM values? The macro {{xtbd}} . I was wondering what calculates the numbers for this macro. Is it based on percentage? What values are being used in creating the #? Furthermore, I was wondering about the coloring system. I have my average damage for every individual displayed and utilize c.tbd as the color macro. The problem is, however, in lower tiers, most players average damage comes up red, even they they score high amounts of damage on average specific to the tank they play. A Tier V "T-25" should have a purple color (very high) if they average over 1k damage per battle. Any thoughts on how to accomplish that? Cheers! -Seth
  15. Cheers! I'll try it out and let you guys know if anything strange happens.
